Rate Increase for Walk-Home Service
Why the Increase?
It has been suggested that “walking my dog a couple blocks is no big deal” but we are experiencing it to be a very time consuming endeavor. From the time spent on leashing and dressing your pooch, fulfilling specific walking instructions (awaiting potties), as well as instructions within your home, to dealing with uncooperative doormen, unreliable elevators, and inclement weather, the service has transformed into something more of a “white glove” service. We can no longer offer walk home service at current prices. The last thing we want to do in these economic times is raise prices or cut back on services, however, the following prices are more commensurate with the service at hand and the added liability that we incur. Fortunately, those who use the service on a regular basis will feel little effect other than pre-paying for walk homes in advance through the purchase of one of our packages.
Changes to our walk home service are as follows:
- Walk home parameters 30th to 36th Street, FDR to Park Avenue
- We will no longer service West of Park Avenue.
- On the Block is considered 33rd Street between 3rd Avenue and 2nd Avenue.
- Please remember: Make arrangements with your doorman to receive WPS walkers
- Please remember: Walk home requests should be scheduled no later than a half hour prior to closing (6:30 PM)
- Please remember: Walkers work for tips!
| Client Type | On The Block | Off The Block |
| ANY Client Single Walk | $6 per walk | $12 per walk |
| VIP & Package Clients | $49 per month | $99 per month |
| VIP & Package Clients | $39 for 10 Walks | $79 for 10 Walks |
