Take A Message

All phone calls should be answered within 2 rings. Upon picking up the receiver, allow for a brief pause so the line connects (approximately 1 second) and say, “Walter’s Pet Styles, this is [name].”

Proper message taking is crucial to ensuring effective communication. Convey confidence to the caller that their message will be delivered promptly and somebody will respond in a timely manner. First impressions can make or break a relationship. Returning clients also expect a high level of service. Recall the book, “SMILE!”
